Ekalthana Karyashala

On the auspicious occasion of the 50th Diksha Diwas of Acharya Shri Mahashramanji, ABTKM (Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal) has organized the "Ekalthana Workshop". This workshop will be conducted from October 15, 2023, to April 30, 2024

Project Task:
  1. In the ten vows, the fifth vow is Ekalthana - Tap.
  2. Ekalthana is generally a vow of sitting alone, but its practice and application are somewhat different.
  3. The duration of taking food in Ekalthana cannot be more than one muhurat (48 minutes).
  4. In Ekalthana, sitting in one place, taking food in one sitting or on a plate, in silence, is done.
  5. Potatoes and onions are completely avoided during Ekalthana.
  6. Ekalthana's vow should be taken before midnight. From midnight to sunrise, the practice of Chauvihaar is mandatory.
  7. After eating in Ekalthana, it is mandatory to give up the practice of Tri-vihar.
  8. On the day of Ekalthana, it is mandatory to practice Chauvihaar from sunset to sunrise the next day.

Empower Her

The Ahmedabad Management Association, in collaboration with, organized a three-day paid online workshop focusing on enhancing personal and professional skills. The event covered a range of topics including personality management, negotiation skills, and stress management. Ms. Khushbu Gangwani commenced the workshop with insights into personality management, emphasizing the importance of personal grooming and body language. Day two featured Ms. Naisargi Shah's session on win-win negotiation skills, highlighting the significance of building rapport for successful negotiations. On the final day, Mr. Francis Lobo discussed time and stress management techniques, goal setting, and the power of yoga meditation. Participants gained practical knowledge and skills to improve their professional image and overall well-being. The workshop concluded with the distribution of e-certificates, providing attendees with recognition for their participation and learning achievements.

Chaubisi

Chaubisi refers to a collection of twenty-four legendary figures or Tirthankaras in Jainism. A beautiful composition created by His Holiness Shrimad Jayacharya. The principles taught by the Jain Tirthankaras emphasize non-violence (ahimsa), truthfulness (satya), non-possessiveness (aparigraha), and other ethical values that promote spiritual growth and compassion towards all living beings. The Jain Chobis serve as role models for Jain practitioners, guiding them towards the path of liberation and spiritual fulfillment. The direction provided by His Holiness Acharya Mahashramanji, to learn by each kanya Mandal member so that we can understand timeless wisdom and compassion that transcends the cycles of birth and death.

Project Task: Event - Group Singing Competition

  • In this competition each Kshetra has been allotted a Chobisi
  • All girls are directed to understand and learn the given chobisi
  • Arrange a competition in your Kshetra
  • Each group should have a minimum of 5 girls
  • Record a Video of the winner group and send it to us before 15th March
  • Evaluation of the Winner will be done based on your performance, melodious voice, and creativity in the video.

In February, each kshetra was tasked with creating a single video showcasing the values of Bhikshu Swami's Maryada. The aim was to demonstrate how these values have influenced their lives and made them different. The videos were then emailed to ABTKM, who uploaded them on their Instagram page. Kshetras were encouraged to garner maximum likes and comments on their videos as one of the evaluation criteria.

18th Paap Video Making Competition

The 18th Paap Video Making Competition, held in November 2023, served as a significant platform for fostering positivity and creativity among participants. Centered around the theme "Asato Ma Sadgamaya" (Lead me from the unreal to the real), the competition aimed to inspire contestants to delve into themes of personal growth and enlightenment through the medium of video. This event encouraged participants to share their unique perspectives and ideas, fostering a cultural exchange of diverse narratives and artistic expressions. The results of this innovative event were announced via Zoom on December 18, 2023.

तीर्थंकर भगवान पार्श्वनाथ के जन्म कल्याणक दिवस

New year 2024 begins with the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Parshvanath, the twenty-third Tirthankara, on Saturday, January 6, 2024, according to the Hindu lunar calendar. Participate in the recitation of Navkar Mantra and the Upasarga Sutra while observing the fasting and self-purification rituals. Engage in this noble endeavor of karma nirjara to connect with oneself during this significant event.

Kala Sparsh - Shrujnatmak Lekhan aur Rekhankan Pratiyogita

In December 2023, ABTKM organized the Kala Sparsh, a creative writing and art competition focused on the theme of "Family (Paarivarik) Role Model." A total of 174 entries were received, with 75 submissions in English and 99 in Hindi. The competition saw enthusiastic participation from 88 kshetra, who submitted two outstanding articles each highlighting various family members such as mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, brothers, and grandparents. These entries were digitally showcased on platforms like WhatsApp groups and social media channels such as Instagram and Facebook, allowing for widespread recognition. The winners were chosen through collective judgment by esteemed personalities from diverse cities, and the results were announced via Zoom, with Mrs. Babitaji Raysoni and Mrs. Kajalji Lunkad serving as Guests of Honors, drawing approximately 196 attendees to the online event.

"Power of Signature" by Rupi Jain was an event focused on the significance and impact of one's signature. Rupi Jain likely discussed how a signature can convey personality, professionalism, and authenticity in various contexts such as legal documents, artwork, and branding. The event may have explored the history and cultural significance of signatures, as well as practical tips for creating a unique and meaningful signature. Overall, the event aimed to educate and inspire participants about the power and potential of their signatures in making an impression.

Bhagwan Mahaveer Nirvaan Mala

On November 13, 2023, the Terapanth Kanya Mandal, organized a spiritual event commemorating the Nirvana Kalyanak Diwas of Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavir. The event focused on the recitation of "Namo Samanassa Bhagavato Mahavirassa," with emphasis on spiritual practices. Attendees were encouraged to participate in chanting the mantra for spiritual upliftment and reverence towards Lord Mahavir.

The new year 2024 came with a wave which has given us the opportunity to sing and praise the values of our 11th adhishasta Acharya shri Mahashraman ji . This is one of the greatest composition by the Shasan Mata Sadhvi Pramukha Kanakprabhaji who paved a way for us to learn more deeply about our guru so on the auspicious occasion of Acharya Mahashramanji’s 50th Diksha Diwas the TKM came with this project and encouraged the girls to learn it.

Samthal Shvas Preksha Workshop

Samthal Shvas Preksha Workshop was successfully conducted on Zoom on February 24, 2024. Over 150 girls from 87 regions participated in the event.Mr. Sameer Vakil, Co-founder and CEO of Global Linker, served as main speaker, shedding light on Preksha meditation and elucidated Preksha in simple terms through a PowerPoint presentation, conducting practical demonstrations to enhance understanding of the process of inward and outward breath.

TKM organized an exploration event focusing on the life reflections of the Sadhvipramukh's of the Terapanth community through a questionnaire-based event of the month of March.

In honor of Acharya Shri Mahashraman Ji’s 50th Deeksha Kalyan Mahotsav, all the girls paid their respects by offering their heartfelt tributes through poster making and handmade crafts. Through these artworks, they aimed to learn about the life of their guru.

Guruvar Abhyarthana Dhyeya Path

To commemorate the auspicious birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir and to pay heartfelt homage to him, as well as to celebrate the 50th Deeksha Kalyan Mahotsav of Acharya Shri Mahashraman Ji, daughters will present various aspects of Gurudev's life philosophy under the theme "Mahashraman Mein Mahavir."

Project Task:

The "Mahashraman Mein Mahavir" speech contest will be organized at the local level on April 20 or 21, 2024. The participants, will focusing on topics such as morality, discipline, friendship, compassion, awareness, non-violence, leadership, meditation, non-possessiveness, and community organization.

For 11 days, the girls will abstain from consuming root vegetables such as garlic, onion, carrot, sweet potato, potato, and radish. This act of renunciation will be offered at the feet of their spiritual teacher as a gesture of dedication and discipline.

Om Shri Mahashramanostu Namah - Japaaradhana Aradhya

In celebration of the Deeksha Kalyan Mahotsav of our revered heart emperor, Acharya Shri Mahashraman Ji, the entire community will come together to express their devotion through Japaaradhana. The goal is to complete the chanting of 4,38,000 malas of "Om Shri Mahashramanostu Namah," symbolizing fifty decades (4,38,000 hours) of disciplined practice. To achieve this goal, all families within the Terapanth Dharma Sangh were called upon to participate. Each member aimed to chant 11 malas of the mantra as much as possible. The cumulative efforts were documented and sent to the central organizing body.

ChartSmartHER - Webinar

To provide training on how girls can become financially independent in today's world. A webinar was organized on the Zoom application to build a promising future for the girls. Shri Saurabh Jain (Superlative Finance Trainer/Mentor/Coach) conducted an engaging session on simple trading skills and achieving financial freedom. He used real-life scenarios and practical demonstrations to train the girls to become self-independent.

Celebrate Motherhood with Mothers

To celebrate Mother's Day by showcasing the special bond between mothers and daughters. The program aims to provide a platform for them to present their harmony and teamwork in a unique way.

Project Task:

Mothers and daughters were invited to participate and were given an opportunity to present special performances together. Each mother-daughter pair also brought a Jain dish prepared together at home, emphasizing collaboration in both presentation and decoration. The event was organized locally, and photos and videos of the program were sent to the central organizing body.
